Taco Joe's Mexican Restaurant: Authentic Breakfast & Brunch Experience

I love love love this place. Before moving out of state 10 years ago I visited every week. Now every time I come home to visit family we eat here multiple times. Always friendly staff, the food is always on point and beyond delicious. Authentic taste. Salsa chips very tasty. I LOVE the CHILE RELLENOS, the red sauce that comes on it so good. Definitely can't go wrong with anything ordered from here.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Taco Treasure for over 50 Years! We have been coming to Taco Joe’s Mexican Food for well over 50 years, and it has always been a wonderful experience—but today was truly something special. We were celebrating my husband’s birthday, and from start to finish, everything was above and beyond. The Queen Size Deluxe Burrito—a longtime favorite—never disappoints. It’s always packed with flavor, generous in size, and cooked to perfection. But today I noticed something new on the menu: quesabirria tacos. Wow! If you are a fan of birria, you must try them. These tacos are out-of-this-world delicious—crispy, cheesy, and filled with juicy, flavorful meat. They’re a new favorite for sure! Cuca, the owner, is absolutely fabulous. She’s always there with a warm smile and goes out of her way to make sure everyone leaves happy and full. Her pride in the restaurant shows in every dish and detail. Mary, our server today, was phenomenal. Attentive, kind, and truly went the extra mile to make our celebration special. Taco Joe’s isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a family tradition, a place full of heart, and a shining example of what great food and genuine hospitality look like. I can’t recommend it highly enough!

I have great memories in this place. Every time I walk in it reminds me of my Grandma's kitchen. It is totally old school and I love it! I always get great service here and the chips and salsa are addicting. I usually order a combination plate with taco, enchilada, and tamale. They have a pretty big menu and everything is great! My favorite is the cheese enchilada.

It is a highly recommended Mexican-American flavor. We have been coming for almost 9 years and their supreme chilaquiles do not stop having that delicious flavor. Or their pozole. Or their breakfasts. I’m already hungry.

I sure do miss taco, Joe's. I live in Tennessee now. So every chance I get when I come to California, I'm eating me some taco Joes, but they're more than welcome to come to Tennessee. We would welcome them with open arms. They are the best i had the king size burrito and a shredded beef taco, but I got more of the king size burrito to take home more than half.

Laura was amazing! She always gets our order right and she is so fast. The food was so delicious and it always is. Love this place so much.

Ordered the fajitas with chicken. Food arrived hot and prepared well. Servers were quick to point out all plates were hot and placed a small amount of aloe Vera in the event we touched a plate. Atmosphere was good. I would rate this as 2 thumbs up.
